Set up your Texo email in Outlook 2024 (the new Outlook for Windows) using a secure IMAP connection.
Your Texo email settings
Replace yourdomain.co.za with your own domain, and use your full email address as the username. The outgoing (SMTP) server is the same as the incoming server.
- Incoming server (IMAP): mail.yourdomain.co.za · port 993 · SSL/TLS.
- Outgoing server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.co.za · port 465 · SSL/TLS.
- Username: your full email address · Password: your email account password.
Step by step
- Open the new Outlook. When it first runs you'll see a welcome screen.

- Enter your full email address and click Continue.

- If you're asked to choose the account type, select IMAP.

- Enter your password. Turn on Show more, switch Use recommended settings off, then set the IMAP Incoming server to mail.yourdomain.co.za, port 993, SSL/TLS.

- Set the SMTP Outgoing server to mail.yourdomain.co.za, port 465, SSL/TLS, with your full email address as the SMTP username. Click Continue.

- Outlook verifies the connection and adds your account. Send yourself a test email to confirm.
