WordPress MAX is fully integrated with Cloudflare. When you turn CDN on, visitors hit a global network first — static files and SuperCache page caching from a nearby location, plus DDoS protection. Your site still runs fast on the server without the edge; Cloudflare makes it faster for visitors further away. Support for other CDNs (such as Bunny) is on the roadmap.
Nginx sits as a high-performance proxy in front of a finely tuned PHP stack that runs WordPress. It handles busy traffic cleanly and passes each request through to WordPress when needed — so the site stays responsive when lots of people visit at once. It does not keep a second copy of your page HTML (that job belongs to SuperCache alone).
Our WordPress plugin builds fast, ready-to-serve copies of your pages so visitors don’t wait for PHP and the database on every click. It also optimises CSS and JavaScript, compresses and modern-formats your images (including next-gen formats where browsers support them), and lazy-loads media so pages feel snappy. When you use Cloudflare, SuperCache keeps edge and server caches in step.
