Add your Texo email to the Email app on your Android phone or tablet using a secure IMAP connection.
Your Texo email settings
Replace yourdomain.co.za with your own domain, and use your full email address as the username. The outgoing (SMTP) server is the same as the incoming server.
- Incoming server (IMAP): mail.yourdomain.co.za · port 993 · SSL/TLS.
- Outgoing server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.co.za · port 465 · SSL/TLS · authentication required.
- Username: your full email address · Password: your email account password.
Step by step
- Open the Email app. On the Set up email screen, enter your full email address and password, then tap MANUAL SETUP.

- For What type of account?, tap IMAP ACCOUNT.

- Under Incoming server settings, set the IMAP server to mail.yourdomain.co.za, Security type SSL/TLS and Port 993, with your full email address as the username. Tap NEXT.

- Under Outgoing settings, set the SMTP server to mail.yourdomain.co.za, Security type SSL/TLS and Port 465. Leave Require sign-in ticked, with your full email address and password. Tap NEXT.

- Your account is set up — give it an account name if you like, then tap DONE.

These steps use a Samsung phone as an example. Other Android phones (Google Pixel, Huawei, Xiaomi and others) are very similar — look for Manual setup and choose IMAP, then use the same servers and ports above.
Once set up, send yourself a test email to confirm it works. If anything won't connect, double-check the password and that the servers use SSL on the ports above, then submit a support ticket and we'll help.
